” I received my first paycheck when I was 13 years old, for detasseling corn. Two months after my 16th birthday, I joined the Teamsters Union and went to work as a warehouseman. Ever since, for almost 50 years, I have worked or been a full-time student.
For the past 32 plus years I have been fortunate to be married to the love of my life and my best friend, Katie. We are currently blessed to be in good health. There are a lot of things we would like to see and do.
In order to give us time to do and see some of those things, I have decided not to seek re-election for another term.”
